WAY is an initiative shaped by promoters, artists, and cultural professionals who are actively engaged in Yucatán’s artistic landscape. Dedicated to fostering exchange, visibility, and the growth of the local cultural ecosystem, WAY unfolds once a year over the course of a week, when Mérida and its surrounding become a shared terrain for encounter among diverse cultural communities.

The program brings into dialogue galleries, independent spaces, exhibitions, and projects in multiple formats, alongside talks, screenings, music, performances and gatherings that invite both specialized audiences and new visitors to wander, experience, and inhabit these spaces. WAY culminates in a constellation of activities that nurture dialogue, forge meaningful connections, and open pathways for collaboration between local artists, audiences, and cultural agents from other contexts.
